Glorious Years our monthly newsletter has been adjudged as the best house Journal in the whole of India by AISCCON for the year 2016-17.

MSCA has been adjudged as the Best Association in the whole of Punjab by FEDSEN, Punjab during 2016-17 and awarded Late Sardar Gopal Singh Khehra Award for the promotion of Senior Citizens’ movement and welfare activities in Mohali.

Five members of MSCA were honoured in the Independence Day function (15-Aug-2021) by the Punjab Health Minister for the extensive services and providing various items during pandemic Covid19 towards doctors, police force and MC workers.

MSCA has been adjudged as the Second-Best Association in the whole of Punjab by FEDSEN, Punjab during 2021-22 and awarded Late Sardar Gopal Singh Chopra Award for the promotion of the Senior Citizens’ movement and welfare activities in Mohali. Late Dr AS Khehra, Chairman, MSCA, was invited to Regional Conference for Review of Implementation of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007 organised by AISCCON at Udaipur on 29-30 July 2016.

Late Dr AS Khehra, Chairman, MSCA, was a special invitee to the National Consultation on the above Act, convened by the Ministry for Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, on 31st August 2016 at New Delhi and he presented a paper on further improvement required in the said Act.

MSCA took up with District Administration a case of Elders Abuse, wherein an 85-year-old widow, Smt. Savitri Devi of village Baliali, district Mohali was thrown out of her home by her married daughter. After incessant efforts, the MSCA was able to get the house vacated from illegal possession and restored to Smt. Savitri Devi.

MSCA took up with Police Administration a case of Elders Abuse, wherein a widow of 72 years, Smt. Rupinder Kaur of village Khizrabad, district Mohali was being harassed by a neighbour. After the indulgence of MSCA, the case was resolved.

Our member Mrs Usha Sharma & Mrs. Raj Bajwa participated in state, National & International level MASTERS GAMES 2022 & won many medals.
