Brig. J.S. Jagdev
Brigadier J.S. Jagdev is a distinguished Army veteran, inspiring leader, and dedicated social worker. Commissioned into the Indian Army in 1973, he served with distinction for over 33 years, including in challenging terrains such as the Siachen Glacier. He successfully commanded a brigade in an insurgency-affected region and was awarded the prestigious Sena Medal for his exemplary leadership.
Post-retirement, Brigadier Jagdev has remained deeply committed to social service, with a special focus on senior citizens’ welfare and rural education. As President of the Mohali Senior Citizens Association (MSCA), the largest in Punjab with over 2,400 members, he has been instrumental in building a vibrant and inclusive community for seniors.
He also serves as General Secretary of the Trust for Promotion of Education, supporting rural government schools by providing qualified tutors to enhance student outcomes.
An avid traveller and keen golfer, Brigadier Jagdev continues to inspire through his leadership, compassion, and lifelong dedication to service.
