14-August-2026: Independence Day was symbolically celebrated in the Rose Garden, near library at 10:30 AM, wherein about 35 persons including students of the library joined. Special guests, Mrs Inderpreet Kaur Prince Councilor MC, Ph 3B1 Mohali & Sh Harmanpreet Singh Prince, Social worker, unfurled the flag and saluted along the National Anthem, which the audience also sang with flags in their hands. Some other patriotic songs were also played. Mr Prince gave the message for students and youth to be hard working, stay away from drugs and help in building strong nation. Sh S S Bedi briefed the importance of independence, sacrifices behind and thanked everyone for making the event purposeful. Laddoos and soft drinks were served to all present.
