08-October-2025: The monthly get together / meeting was held in the Library Hall, Rose Garden. The Tambola round conducted by Sh M S Sawhney making it fun-filled. For the health talk Dr Krutika Goel, MD, Oncologist, Consultant MAX Hospital, Mohali, discussed about Cancer types, symptoms, prevention and treatments. Cancer is caused by tobacco, environmental or lifestyle besides hereditary in some cases. She emphasised to check signs like fatigue, lump in area, weight or skin changes etc for early detection and timely treatment. Some related queries were clarified. The Doctor was honoured with memento gift. It being Parkash Purab day of Sri Guru Ramdas ji, Mrs Avtar Kaur recited a Shabad and members joined in prayers. Some soothing songs were also presented by others. Sumptuous refreshments were served in the end.
