11-March-2026: The monthly get together / meeting was held in the Library Hall, Rose Garden in which about 55 members joined. The Tambola round conducted by Sh M S Sawhney making it fun-filled as members engrossed for winning dividends. In the health talk, Dr Pradeep Aggarwal MS, Chief Consultant Orthopedic, Shalby Hospital, Mohali discussed specifically issues of knees, hip and shoulder joints. He shared the experience treating five patients for hip surgeries, above the age of 100 years and eldest being 112 years old. The latest technologies and high quality implants make the life much better. Dr Akshay detailed about the most advanced robots’ equipment in the hospital for implant to the most accurate precisions. Being interactive session, the talk got more purposeful and enlightening. The Doctor was honoured with memento gift by S Harkirat Singh. Some nice old hindi / punjabi songs were presented by members. Sumptuous refreshments of gujia, snacks & tea were relished by all.
